A video explaining how data visualization can be used in the business world.
The second data visualization-related project I worked on in the past three years this one created two years after the first. I feel it demonstrates the progress I've made not only on my own, but as part of a team as well.
The fun of this project for me was creating a range of dynamic shots, trying to mimic the cleaner style of explainer videos that are trendy these days. Using a mix of 2D and 3D, I feel we accomplished our goal quite well!
Though, of course, my favorite part of the project was designing the characters. They underwent a lot of revisions, teetering on the edge of too cartoony and too boring, but we managed to find a good balance.
I even went on to use more stylized versions of these characters for my own story.
